Candididates Personal Data Protection Policy

The personal data – be it text, photographs, videos or other types of files or information, and therefore including his/her image and/or voice – that the Candidate (as defined below) provides or will provide to BULLDOG TV SPAIN, S.L. (“BULLDOG TV”) – whether initially provided or provided as a result of a request for additional information from BULLDOG TV – through (“BULLDOG TV”) -whether provided initially or provided as a result of a request for additional information by BULLDOG TV-, through: (i) a form (the “Form”) to which this Personal Data Protection Policy (the “Policy”) is attached or accompanies; (ii) by mail, by Whatsapp, by Messenger, by Linkedin, by private message through social networks or otherwise; (iii) a personal interview or video call (which may be recorded); (iv) the uploading of a CV through the channels enabled by BULLDOG TV for this purpose; as well as the notes and evaluations made by this production company (collectively, the “Data”), will be processed by BULLDOG TV, in its capacity as Data Controller, with Tax ID No. B-87325205 and registered and operational address at C/Orense 58, 10ºB, 28020 Madrid. BULLDOG TV is dedicated to the production and exploitation of television programs and audiovisual productions in general. The applicant for jobs that BULLDOG TV may offer or require at any given time shall be referred to as the “Candidate”. In accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations[1] BULLDOG TV informs the Candidate of the following aspects:

 

Data Protection Officer

 

BULLDOG TV has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted via email: .privacidad@bulldogtv.es The Candidate may use the above email address to contact BULLDOG TV with questions and/or complaints regarding the processing of his/her Data, as well as to exercise his/her rights as provided for below in this Policy.

 

  1. Mandatory or optional nature of the Data

 

The mandatory data required in the Form will be identified as such at the time it is requested. Mandatory Data will in no case be of a sensitive category. The refusal to provide the mandatory information, the exercise of the rights of opposition or limitation of processing in relation to such mandatory information could prevent or hinder the Candidate’s participation in the selection processes carried out by BULLDOG TV.

 

  1. Special categories of data

 

Particularly sensitive data may be processed on a residual basis, depending on the information provided by the Candidate himself/herself through the CV or videos, emails or whatsapps, information provided in the interview or otherwise. For clarification purposes, any sensitive information provided verbally or otherwise by the Candidate through videos, by email, by whatsapp or in the interview, is provided by the Candidate freely and on his/her own will and initiative, without BULLDOG TV requiring or pressuring him/her in any way to provide such information.

 

 

 

 

  1. Purpose of treatment

 

The Candidate authorizes that the Data be processed by BULLDOG TV for the sole purpose of: (i) Evaluating his/her candidacy in the selection processes carried out by BULLDOG TV, both present and future; (ii) In the event that he/she is selected, to allow him/her to be hired.

 

The legal basis legitimizing the processing is the application of pre-contractual measures in the selection processes carried out by BULLDOG TV. The participation of the Candidate in the selection processes of BULLDOG TV does not imply in any case any obligation on the part of BULLDOG TV to effectively take into account the Candidate in said process, nor any obligation to call him/her for a personal interview and of course any obligation to hire him/her for any job position.

 

  1. Recipients of information and international data transfers

 

BULLDOG TV does not perform data transfers or international data transfers with the Candidates’ data.

 

BULLDOG TV may use different people in charge of the processing of the Data, subject to the corresponding processing assignment contracts and the applicable regulations.

 

  1. Data retention period

 

In the event that the CANDIDATE is not selected for this selection process, the Data will be kept in BULLDOG TV’s systems for a period of one (1) year from its collection. Before the expiration of such period of one (1) year, BULLDOG TV may contact the CANDIDATE to request his/her consent in the event that he/she is still interested in BULLDOG TV maintaining and processing his/her Data for the purposes provided herein.

 

  1. Exercise of rights

 

The Candidate shall have the following rights, in accordance with the applicable regulations:

  • Access;
  • Rectification;
  • Deletion (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Limitation of treatment;
  • Opposition;
  • Portability,
  • Right to withdraw consent;

 

The Candidate may exercise the above rights through written communication to the Data Protection Delegate of BULLDOG TV at the following email address: privacidad@bulldogtv.esidentifying himself/herself as a Candidate in a BULLDOG TV selection process, proving his/her identity and specifying his/her request. In the case of exercising the right of rectification, the same shall be exercised by providing the rectified or updated information. In case of deletion or opposition, the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to the request for deletion or opposition will not be affected in any case.

 

In any case, the Candidate shall have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if he/she deems it appropriate (www.aepd.es).

 

  1. Candidate’s Data Protection Commitments

 

The Candidate agrees to:

  • Provide up-to-date, accurate and truthful information.
  • Inform BULLDOG TV of any modification of the information provided, through the procedure indicated for the exercise of the right of rectification.
  • The Candidate warrants that he/she is 18 years of age or older. If the Candidate is under 18 years of age, he/she must not provide personal data to BULLDOG TV in any case and through any means.

 

The Candidate shall be liable to BULLDOG TV or to third parties in the event of non-compliance with the above obligations.

 

  1. Security measures

 

BULLDOG TV guarantees that it has adopted the necessary technical and organizational measures in order to guarantee and be able to demonstrate the security of personal data, which prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorized access; in an adequate and proportionate manner to the risk and taking into account the state of technology, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing, as well as the risks of varying probability and severity for the rights and freedoms of natural persons.
